Cavafy Selected Poems

C. P. Cavafy Selected Poems Includes Historical Texts

Dive into the penetrating world of Cavafy, where the borderlands between thought and desire blur, where the sensual becomes a philosophy of longing, and where desire turns to insight, revealing the beauty of being alive. Now reborn in clear, poetic English.

He left behind an enigmatic letter — and a body of work that has haunted Greek literature ever since: You would be one more among the dead, if the dead were not at peace...

The Shape of Thought

The Shape of Thought: An Anthology of Philosophical Quotations

The Shape of Thought gathers more than 1,300 philosophical quotations, drawn from over 120 thinkers and texts, from the Rigveda to Voltaire. Each is tied to its source with a locator to book, chapter or section, so a student, teacher, writer or reader can check it, cite it, and read on in the source work.

The Author

Author

Born in Thessaloniki in 1991, I was defined early by something uncertain; since then, I've been asking the same questions. I write about what it costs to be conscious.

I see freedom not as something granted from outside, but as an inner awakening — a quiet rebellion of thought against the forces that seek to tame it.

Currently studying Ionian physics, while Classical philosophy continues to shape and inspire my work.
